How often have you been out and about or on holiday and wanted to get a pic of yourself? Sick of half a head and a rather startling strained expression, being taken? We all know that its a pain in the ass to ask some stranger to take a picture for you. This is of course fraught with problems, odds are they don’t speak English, they’re undoubtedly going to take a really shite photo, and they may of course just run off with your camera.

Well not any more, The QuikPod, puts an end to all that. Its a telescopic monopod that takes any camera or camcorder, allowing you to hold your camera at a distance so you can take a proper snap of yourself and friends, etc

I’m not a big fan of getting my photo taken but being a short person I think this would be excellent for taking a few photos way above the heads of the crowds at gigs and the like!.
