The Ultimate Solution for any Data Storage Need. 1 Terabyte drives are not new news; they’re getting to be the standard for anyone brave enough to put all that data in one place The big news here is the connectivity. The Elite-AL will hook up in almost any way you want, with eSATA, USB 2.0, a single FireWire 400 port and a couple of FireWire 800s.

With all this up to date tech, it’s quaint to see that they OWC boasts support and bundled utilities compatible with Mac OS 8.6. Why not just go all the way, OWC, and put in a SCSI port? Or Parallel?

That aside, the Elite-AL is pretty cheap for what you get: $599 US, and it’s always nice to see a drive that isn’t going to be the ugly sister to your Mac Pro. See a picture of the ports after the jump.
