May 17, 2007
Ryanair today announced that it has enjoyed record bookings since yesterday’s launch of the airline’s free seat sale.
Around 250,000 passengers snapped up bargain flights within hours of the announcement that Ryanair is giving away one million free seats (including taxes and charges).
Speaking today, Peter Sherrard, Ryanair’s Head of Communications said:
“Ryanair’s free seat sale has sent sales through the roof, as a record number of passengers flocked to the Ryanair website to grab summer holiday bargains,” said Ryanair’s head of communications Peter Sherrard.
“Our one million free seats are selling fast,” he said. “The seat sale must end Monday”.
