Boozers get free Wi-Fi in Dublin
Several Dublin watering holes have begun to offer imbibers free Wi-Fi as they drink their beer. Capital Bars has switched the management of the Wi-Fi service in their pubs over to wireless internet provider free-hotspot.com. Capital Bars venues include Break for the Border, Café En Seine, Dandelion, Howl at the Moon, The Dragon, The George and Zanzibar.
To access the web for free, users agree to watch an advertisement beforehand. Free-hotspot.com operates the world’s largest free wireless network with over 1,400 free hotspot locations in 16 countries throughout Europe.
Free-hotspot.com plans to increase the size of its Irish hotspot network to over 100 free hotspots throughout the country by the end of this year. The company works with local installation partners in major cities such as Dublin, Galway and Cork, who in turn provide the necessary marketing, installation and support services to the hotspot owners.
