Sales of the Wii console have now reached a grand total of 10.10 million units. It holds a 41.2 percent share of the worldwide market, and is only 220,000 units away from surpassing the current leader, Microsoft’s Xbox 360.In Japan the sales to date have been 3.32 million, but the most popular market is America, with 4.07 million consoles sold. The Xbox 360 is standing firm in the same market, selling 6.64 million consoles in America alone, but it’s flagging everywhere else, with total worldwide sales of 10.32 million consoles.
