CALLING ALL ANIMAL LOVERS
TO RAISE THE SAIL FOR THE IRISH BLUE CROSS
9th – 11th May 2008
The Irish Blue Cross invites you to take part in an exciting sponsored sailing adventure in aid of animals in need.
Raise €1,500 in sponsorship and join them from 9th – 11th May 2008. They guarantee that you will have the thrill of a lifetime as you spend a weekend learning to sail aboard a forty-foot yacht on the Atlantic between Kinsale and Cork Harbour.
Don’t worry if you have never sailed before, you’ll be in excellent hands with their expert skippers, as you face the challenge of the sea with yachts provided by Sail Ireland, Ireland’s premier yacht charter company.
The Irish Blue Cross is a registered charity which helps over 10,000 needy Irish pets every year through subsidised veterinary care and mobile veterinary clinics. They also provide a horse ambulance service at all 27 Irish racecourses, thereby making a huge contribution to the welfare and safety of Irish racehorses.
The challenge for the charity is to raise funds for a new small animal clinic based in Inchicore. They aim to raise €20,000 through the Sailing Challenge 2008 towards its construction.
