wiimotionplusThe Wii MotionPlus is the latest  new accessory for the Wii Remote which is supposed to capture complex motion, making it more sensitive.

The device, which connects directly onto the Wiimote is meant to enhance play control on compatible games, such as Grand Slam Tennis, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 & Wii Sports Resort.

It contains additional sensors that make the Wii Remote respond to the slightest movement, motion, or twist of the wrist.

Grey’s Anatomy Comes to Wii, DS & PC!

Yep you heard right, Ubisoft announced that it will release Grey’s Anatomy: The Video Game, an adaptation of the ABC medical soap opera taking place in the fictional Seattle Grace Hospital.

To appear on the Nintendo DS, Wii, and PC in early 2009, the game will offer an original storyline and will enable players to take on the roles of doctors from the television series.

In Grey’s Anatomy, players will “make important personal and professional decisions, explore the direct relationships with each other, and perform … delicate surgeries.”

Best Chrimbo Ever for XBOX 360

xbox360Microsoft said that in the six years since its launch, this past Christmas has been the best one ever for the console. Comparing December 2008 sales to the year previous, the console had 100pc growth in France, the UK, Italy, Germany and Spain. Another thing Microsoft can boast about is that the Xbox 360 has been consistently outselling the PlayStation 3 in EMEA since its launch. Again, this strong performance would appear to be down to pricing.

Microsoft Xbox 360 cheaper by €80 in Europe from today!

Microsoft Corp cut the prices of its Xbox 360 video game console in Europe by up to 28 percent on Monday to try to spur sales in a key battleground in the fast-growing industry. This is the second price cut for the Xbox in Europe in less than a year.

Last August, Microsoft shaved 7 percent off the euro price of its low-end model and 13 percent off the main Premium model. The €80 decrease results in cuts of 18 percent to 28 percent across the three Xbox 360 models, bringing the cheapest Arcade version to €200 euros and the high-end Elite to €370.
